version 24.3.1 (03/04/2024)

  • Added support for the external Impinj R420 reader, allowing the operation of two independent readers (internal and external) in a single device. This enables the RaceMeter device to cover multiple measured gates, as only an Ethernet cable with PoE needs to be extended for the external reader. This eliminates the limitation imposed by the length of coaxial cables.
  • Enhanced the existing method of reading chips from internal passive RFID modules. Previously, the chip code returned included the internal chip ID (EPC) along with the so-called PC part. Since the external Impinj reader only returns the EPC part, the settings of the internal passive RFID module have been updated to include the option of returning only the EPC part as the chip code. In case the internal RFID module is used along with the external RFID module (Impinj), it is possible to work with a single chip code, as both readers will return the same code.
  • Fixed an issue in the Complete Recovery function. After completing a full recovery, which involves replacing all databases, configurations, and user databases, the browser sent a command to restart RaceMeter. In some cases (when there were changes in the admin user), the command did not execute because the key sent in the request (something like the username and password) no longer matched what was currently in the user database. An error occurred: “Invalid API key.” At this point, simply turning off RaceMeter was sufficient. After the subsequent restart, everything worked correctly. The fix involves executing the device restart command at the end of the recovery itself.
  • Modification in the form for entering parameters for external RFID devices – the ability to select from the IP addresses of devices in the local network.
