New functionality has been added to allow, in the case of a race with multiple segments and in the event that a racer has a chip missed on some (not the last) segment, a quick adjustment. This adjustment will ensure a correct calculated time at the finish. The idea is that if, for example, in a race with two segments, a racer misses a chip entry on the first segment, the time on the second segment cannot be correctly calculated (even though the second segment should have been recorded by other antennas). In this case either the data of neither segment is calculated, or (in case of setting the same antennas for both segments) the chip record time of the second segment is displayed in the time of the first segment. Therefore, a function has been added to the Race results to show the detail of the measurement for the selected racer. This shows graphically for all segments the duration and the time when the segment was completed. For example, if you can see the finish time of the first segment from the next segment, or if you can’t see any time for the first segment, but you know that the racer finished the first segment, just click on the first segment and the Unmeasured flag will be set for that segment. This will ensure that the system takes this segment as finished and can calculate the times of the next segments from the existing chip logs. This method of not adding manual chip writes is more operational – you do not have to come up with a specific time for a manual chip write.
Correction of an introductory error. If a race was not set to automatically send results or if the race was not used in Panels, the results page for that race was not receiving information about changes due to chip logs. Thus, the results page did not update itself in this case.
Setting a slightly darker black for all text.
Contextual help directly accessible from the displayed page. So far, contextual help has only been added to the page displaying the Measurement Detail for a given racer. If there is a context help for the page, a button with a question mark symbol has been added to the top bar on the right. Contextual help will be added to other pages as time goes on.
For the pages that open in a separate window (Create manual chip log for racer, view chip logs for racer and view measurement details) the main menu with the selection of agendas is now not displayed in the top bar, but only the back button, which closes the window when pressed.
New Note and Size fields have been added to the racer record. You need to set in the race definition whether either of these new fields will be used. If the field is set to use the field in a given race, the field can be entered for individual racers in that race, synchronized from the API or Google spreadsheet, and is available in the race results. For example, in the Note field it is possible to store the names of individual team members (if the racer is a team) and then this field can be used, for example, when printing diplomas.
The manual sending of individual results has been modified so that even if it is a cyclic race with an unspecified number of cycles (where the system does not know when to send the individual results) it is possible to send the individual results manually.
Adjustment of calculated and displayed intensity (from RSSI data). For the active RFID module, the smallest RSSI values are much smaller than for the passive modules. Therefore, even when the chip was detected, the calculated intensity value could be equal to 0%. A chip that was loaded in this way (even if the chip registration setting was reduced to 0) was not added to the chip registration list. Now the minimum intensity when a chip is registered is equal to 1%.
