version 24.1.3 (07/01/2024)

  • A new agenda has been added that allows you to create a complete backup and then completely restore the system from this backup. The complete backup contains all databases, user database, all user reports, all configurations and even tor network settings. There is also a function in this new agenda that will upgrade the RaceMeter operating system. After upgrading the operating system, priority booting from a USB drive is set if it is connected. Without a USB drive connected, the system boots “old fashioned” from the internal SD card.
  • This new version has changed (with respect to possible booting from a USB drive) the algorithm how the Login ID is created to get updates (new versions). Therefore, after upgrading to this version and higher, you must request that your new Login ID be added to the list of allowed IDs.
  • In the race definition on the segments tab, the order of the time and duration flags has been swapped in the flags menu for the segment – time has been moved before duration.
  • A new ‘Rank after segment’ flag has been added to the race segment flags which, if used, will add a column to the results showing the order of racers after completing the segment.
  • Bug fix – when the ‘Start Time’ column was used, it was incorrectly generating detail data (dates of individual cycles in the case of cycling the race) which then led to the detail not being able to be expanded – a javascript error was appearing.
  • Adding OS kernel version number information to the footer of each page (next to the version number).
  • Addition of an optional description field to the racers.
  • Added a report definition that prepares a spreadsheet of a list of racers to sign that they agree to complete the race at their own risk.
  • Fixed display of duration in results – if the duration was greater than 24 hours it was not displaying correctly.
  • Fix in when messages are sent with changes to results, panels and when external results are synchronized. Now all these notifications are only done when the race is not closed. Once a race is closed all these notifications are stopped.
